The Best and Worst Hair at the 2010 Emmy's

So last night was the Emmy's... red carpet fashion has returned! We can discuss all the fashion hits and misses. But let us not forget the hair!

Tina Fey- Tina...Tina... Tina. It looks like a helmet! That is too much hair for one short lady.

January Jones- I felt bad for her. I'm sure her hair looked perfectly acceptable, but the wind looked like it won that battle.

Eva Longoria- There were a lot of Grecian up 'dos and Eva's just looked heavy and matronly. Were there no other up 'do options, ladies?

Dianna Agron (of "Glee")- She looked like a princess in this Carolina Herrera gown, with a bun to match!

Who was your favorite?

Urban Decay's Book of Shadows Vol. 3- Heart NYC

I live in New York City and when I heard that Urban Decay was adding another volume to their famous Book of Shadows collection inspired by New York... I had to have it! This past Saturday, UD was giving out the palettes at the Times Square Sephora. So my friend and I waited in line (yes, that's correct) to pick it up. They were giving away the shadows at 1pm. We got there around 10:30am and there was already people in line! There was probably around 200 people waiting in line, so we didn't feel like complete losers (lol!). The UD makeup artist were very sweet and gave us lots of free goodies

The pretty pop up inside.... it lights up!

Free goodies!

And we got T-shirts!

The palette costs $54 and includes 16 shadows (7 which are new) and 2 eyeliners and travel-size of their famous eyeshadow primer (which retails at $28). The $54 sounds pricey, but for everything you get... it really is a great deal seeing as the eyeshadows are $17 when sold separately.

I'm no beauty blogger so I wasn't great at swatching the colors. Check out swatches here. My favorite colors are Uzi (which is very glittery), Bordello, Snatch (not a good name....), and Midnight Cowboy Rides Again.

3 Albums You Should Buy Now!

I have been enjoying these albums. I thought I'd share my recommendations...

1. Eminem- “Recovery”- After his struggling with addiction, Slim Shady is back! With great tracks featuring Pink and Rihanna (can’t stop singing “I love the way you lie”) this album is a great comeback album for him. Some may his songs sounds the same... but he is one of the best rappers our generation has seen. No complaints from me! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a Lady Gaga and Marshall Mathers collaboration! Hehe

2. Karen Elson “The Ghost Who Walks”- Yes ladies and gentleman, the Louis Vuitton campaign model can sing! Ms. Elson collaborates with her musical husband, Jack White (of the White Stripes) for her debut album which is flawless. Such a soulful, unique voice... you can't help but be captured by it. I have a such a girl crush on her. Buy it now and you won't be disappointed!

3. Katy Perry “Teenage Dream”- Don’t be fooled by the overly pop song “California Gurls” (which quite frankly got on my nerves). This album is a really great pop album, much like Lady Gaga’s “The Fame” was (if you don't agree... then maybe pass). There are the catchy songs you dance too that have a playful flair to them “California Gurls” and “Peaccock.” To the touching ballads like “Fireworks” and “Not Like the Movies.” I never purchased a Katy Perry album before but I haven’t been able to stop repeating the album since I purchased it. I highly recommend it!
