| Warning: Can be messy! |
I've had this silver eye makeup glitter since high school. I'm not really sure why I bought it because it's very hard to apply. Anytime I wear glitter around my eyes, I feel like it falls into my eyes so that's why it's been sitting in my makeup case. When I was cleaning out my makeup storage to find products I don't use to donate to charity, thanks Clumps of Mascara for the suggestion, I found this and wondered what I could do with it. Paint my nails!

Now I applied this after I already having e.l.f.'s Mint Cream on my nails for a day. What I did:
Step 1: Paint along the tip of your nail a thin layer of nail polish (I used the same color) one nail at a time.
Step 2: Use a stiff ended brush (I used e.l.f.s eye liner brush) and dip it into the glitter. It's okay to have a lot, to make sure you get good coverage.
Step 3: Dab the brush with glitter along the wet line of nail polish.
Step 4: Repeat, one nail at a time so you can make sure the polish is still wet to hold the glitter.
Step 5: Let dry and add a top coat.
I think it looks pretty (can't really see the colors together but trust me!). I have some other glitter colors that I'll be experimenting with so stay tuned.
What do you think? Would you try it?

what a great idea - thanks for sharing

This is such a good idea! I went through a major glitter phase when I was in my teens... not so much any more and I have stacks of the stuff!
