August Birchbox Features Beauty Innovators
My monthly Birchbox arrived and this month it features beauty innovations. Innovative products can be problem-solvers or revolutionary products. Such a genius idea! I think the beauty industry is one of the most inventive and I don't think it gets as much recognition as it should. I'm excited to play with these items. Here's what I got:
* Wei Tibetan Chrysanthemum Correcting Eye Treatment Pads ($60/10 pairs). Wow the name is fancy itself. It claims to diminish appearance of puffiness, minimize dark circles and is intended for all skin types. Those are some big claims so can't wait to test them out!
* Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask ($29/7 oz). I hear many people rave about Carol's Daughter products so I've been eager to try one. My hair is in dire need of a hair mask so fingers crossed.
* Pangea Organics Facial Cleanser ($28/4 fl oz). It's for combination to oil skin so hopefully the natural ingredients won't irritate my sensitive skin. I just ran out of my Philosophy facial cleanser from last month's box so this is great timing!
* blinc Eyeliner ($24/ .21 oz). Supposedly this is the miracle eyeliner that doesn't fade and is sweat proof. I've never tried any blinc products before so we'll see.
Lastly, I received a twistband hair tie which I thought was an extra bow in the box (lol!). It is a seamless elastic that doesn't have any metal closures (which can cause breakage) so it's like a prettier scrunchy. A set of 3 costs $5.
