Review: Carol's Daughter Monoi Repairing Hair Mask
Thanks to Birchbox, I received a sample of this hair mask. I've heard some good things around the blogosphere about Carol's Daughter products so I was interested to try. My hair has also had it's issues with dryness this season so I've tried lots of hair masks. It costs $29 for a 7 oz jar.
The directions were simple "Apply to wet hair. Leave in for 5-7 minutes and rinse." I applied it after shampooing my hair. As I was rinsing it out, it felt like butter. So soft! I love the smell, it has a lavender sent to it. The results were immediate and my hair felt great.
My only con is that I have medium to thin hair and by the second day it felt like my hair was weighed down. This hair mask would be great for someone with medium to thick hair that can handle a heavier hair product. I hardly use any hair products because my hair is greasy the next day.
I highly recommend this product for the right hair type. However, I'm not sure it's the right hair mask for my hair.
Have you used any Carol's Daughter products? What was your experience?
