But I digress... it was a casual date at this small tea place in the East Village called Saint Alps. I ordered a Lychee Nectar (delicious!) thanks to a FourSquare recommendation. Since it was late afternoon, I kept my outfit casual. This sweater is super comfy but also kind of crop length so I opted for a longer tank top underneath to make sure nothing was hanging out.

For my beauty look, I did my favorite: cate eye + bold lips. I'm wearing MAC's "Fusion Pink." I wrapped this vintage scarf on my head and tied into a knot.

I kept the jewelry simple with these rings from Kohl's. Kohl's has great jewelry - I always get lots of compliments when I wear my pieces from there. Showing off my manicure with my Rebecca Minkoff bag.

I must say natural light is the best so whatever room gets the most light try that. It's all about just playing around with it and finding the best light.
