#ClosetRaidSwap Party Event Recap!

Calm before the storm
On Saturday I had the pleasure of co-hosting ClosetRaid's launch party at Projective Space. ClosetRaid is the new social way to sell, swap or donate your items to your online community. Swap parties are the best way to clean out your closets and give unwanted items new loving homes. If your items weren't swapped, then our wonderful donation partners Goodwill, Room to Grow and WGirls are going to take great care of them - nothing went unloved!

My friend Laura of Blush and Beakers snapped this photo of me (it's the best outfit pic I have). What I'm wearing: Nordstrom coral blazer (my new favorite!), Old Navy white tank (which had a lovely strawberry stain), $4 jeans from the Levi's outlet in Jersey, Matisse Coconuts wedges from Zappos, Neon yellow belt from The Gap, gold bow necklace from Dogeared (c/o Fitness Magazine's Meet 'n Tweet event), The Limited necklace, Ann Taylor bracelet and BCBG rings.

Rings via Zappos

I also wore ombre nails in the ClosetRaid colors: white, blue and black.

Domaine Carneros served up some delicious bubbly wine.

Guiltless Baker served their gluten-free brownies.

Peppermint Chic was on hand to sell their trendy accessories.

Nydia Charles was one of our fabulous merchants who makes gorgeous beaded jewelry.

Can you spot Kim?
Projective Space provided a huge open loft area that was terrific for this type of event. We had 3 rounds of swapping since we had that many clothes!

Round 1 of swapping

We nearly got run over!

We had racks of bottoms, tops, dresses and men's clothing. As well as tables for t-shirts, sweaters, beauty/makeup, accessories, handbags and shoes.

Fellow blogging buddies Nicole of The Owl Girl and Chris of The Tiny Tie Rant scouting out the accessories table.

Jennifer (Founder of Closet Raid), me and Cait of Goodwill having fun in the photo booth!

In the goodie bags guests received: Dryel's Starter Kit, Downy's Wrinkle Release, artist Gary Lichtenstein provided amazing paint sticks, Mandel shampoo and conditioner, a packet of LashCards (with hilarious Tammy Faye pics on them), a 2 week membership to CLAY health club, gift certificate for Alice Alan footwear, Whooplon! the new dining service, a complimentary coaching session with Jill Lauri, and so much more.

Thank you to everyone who came out and made it a success!
