Yesterday I attended Fitness Magazine's first ever Meet 'n Tweet event for bloggers at the Metropolitan Pavilion. It was a day full of activities centered around fitness. There were panels with experts giving their best diet tips. Work out sessions thanks to KiwiSweat and lots of great vendors to shop.

The dress code was comfy fitness clothes. I don't have stylish work out gear so I wore some gray yoga leggings from Victoria's Secret, an inside out sweater from Nordstrom (can't find it online!) which was on sale for $16 and a white tank top to cover my bum from Old Navy. I opted to hold my hair up with a bandana because it's a good way to disguise dirty hair.
Lululemon but I couldn't them online.
Laura Geller was amazing! I was frantically tweeting out all her advice because it was brilliant. Bottom line: oil blotting powder, waterproof eyeshadow, a spackle primer and heavy duty concealer! We received her legendary face spackle (a.k.a. primer) in our goodie bags along with a discount code: BOUNCE for 20% off.
It was by far the heaviest and best goodie bag I've received after an event. Such a cute print from Sonia Kashuk. I'll definitely be using the bag as my carry-on for traveling. We got a lot of great snacks to try, AJ Jacobs book "Drop Dead Healthy" who spoke at the event, a week of free classes to Pure Barre, yoga DVD and mat, Schick Hydro Silk razor, healthy snacks, beauty goodies, CamelBak water bottle, and so much more!
And it didn't stop there!
Before the event, guests were asked their shoe size and it turns out Reebok graciously gave us all their RealFlex sneakers to take home! Along with some socks and a key chain of a mini version (so cute!).
Oakley was also there showing off their fashionable yet sporty eyewear. We got to choose between two shades, I selected their Overtime style in Crystal Raspberry because I love oversized sunnies!
Thanks to all the sponsors who helped made this event possible Birkenstock, Sun-Maid Raisins, New Media Strategies, Reebok, CamelBak, Grain Foods International, Vichy, Oakley, Pure Protein (follow them on Facebook and they will donate $1 to the National MS Society).
