My Gossip Girl Birchbox Arrived!

I was so excited when I found out that this month's Birchbox was going to be Gossip Girl inspired! Gossip Girl quickly became one of my favorite shows thanks to the Twitter chats and the good looks of Chuck Bass (a.k.a. Ed Westwick). The products selected are to help give you the chicest brunch look as a Manhattan socialite (or pretend to be). Overall, the box was an improvement. There were definitely bigger samples this time.





Didn't really get the whole yellow tissue paper thing... I received:

• Arquiste Flor y Canto perfume sample (full size $165) - Meaning opulent white floral which is a fresh blend of sweet blossoms inspired by an Aztec festival in 1400. It was a little strong for my liking but very cool history lesson.
• Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream (.5 fl oz sample/$19 full size) - This youthfulness anti-oxidant cream with orange pulp leaves your hands silky smooth and protected. I'm always down for another hand cream!
• Ojon damage reverse Restorative Conditioner (1 fl oz/$25 full size) - I actually received a full size of this shampoo and conditioner in my Sephora mystery sample gift bag. I'm almost out of the conditioner so good timing! 
• FusionBeauty LipFusion Balm in Clear (Full size $22) - This lip conditioning stick has SPF15 and gentle plumping formula. Just like hand creams, I can't get enough lip balm products. I thought it was interesting that it was clear since I like to add a little color to my lips. I'll keep ya posted!
• Extra: Gossip Girl themed note card "xoxo" - I wish there was more than just one!
