First box to arrive! This month's Julep Maven theme was sparkle in honor of July 4th. They just released America - The Beautiful and O Canada themed nail polishes and each maven got one bonus polish in their box this month. I have to commend them on the red, white, and blue packaging - super cute and festive!
Love all the quotes they've been including!
Here's what I got:
- Lip Vernis in "Peony" ($18)
- Extras: Atomic Ball candy (thought they were bubble gum and immediately regretted not reading the packaging carefully)
I had no idea Julep made lip gloss! I really liked it because it smelled delicious, was super rich and the color was a great nude for my lips.
Yumi is a super rich multi-colored glitter polish. This just one coat!

Thank you for the swatches and great post! I am waiting for my first monthly Julep box right now. I was supposed to be American Beauty, but switched it to It Girl for Daphne. After seeing this however I am really trying hard not to go into the site and order this box too! I just started a blog a few days ago, and yours is an inspiration to me! Keep up the amazing work!!

I am still waiting for my July It Girl box :( I really wanted to have my nails all decked out in America for the 4th, sigh. Anyways, your post also was the deciding factor for me to go into the boutique and purchase the AB box (yikes, I think I am addicted). It looks like this one is traveling quicker than my original box?? Curious lol
Deletehaha love when I encourage bad shopping behavior ;) I'm surprised the box is shipping slow... although I'm In New York and they ship in Washington, it arrives within 4 days. Perhaps shoot them an email?
DeleteI did and finally got my It Girl box, and add ons today :) For some reason they were held in Settle for like 4 days? My add ons were even sent to Cali and I am in Ohio haha. No clue why that happened, but I am happy to have them and for my AB box to come as well hehe
DeleteI love how Julep is not limited to nail polish and nail care item! They've made lip glosses, lip chaps, sun screen in the past so I think it keeps the subscription pretty exciting!
