I love the beginning of my month because all my beauty subscription boxes arrive! For those who don't know, Sample Society was created by BeautyBar.com in collaboration with Allure magazine. For $15 a month you receive 5 deluxe-sized samples, $15 gift code to redeem on a $50 purchase and expert beauty advice from the editors of Allure. Now they say "deluxe-sized" samples; however, I would say most of these samples are not deluxe sized. There's no monthly theme so it's a surprise what you're going to receive. I did like that there were more makeup products in this month's box. Here's what I received:
Borghese Tono Body Creme (1 oz/ 7 oz $47.50) | Sisley-Paris Hydra-Global Intense Anti-Aging Hydration (.14 oz/ 1.4 oz $250) | vbeaute Eye Never Nourishing Repair Eye Cream (.033 fl oz/ .5 fl oz $85) | Jouer Cosmetics Luminizing Moisture Tint SPF 20 in Bronzed (.17 fl oz/ $38) | Vincent Longo Duo Lip Pencil in Lavender Lite and Grape ($26)
Borghese lotion was very rich and felt hydrating. However, I didn't care much for the smell.
There was so little product, it was hard to do a review.
The Jouer tinted moisturizer was unfortunately too dark for me, would have liked to give this product a whirl since I heard good things.
The booklet said eye pencil but the product says lip pencil. They are pretty colors but too dark for my lips so perhaps I will use it as an eyeliner!'s tips. Under "Moisturize Your Body Like a Pro" they recommend taking showers no longer than 15 minutes. Can anyone else do that?!
