And it's not even my birthday.... well actually it is. Today I am another year older. Turning the big 2-7. I don't want to hear it from you 25 and younger crowd how you feel so old! You realize you've only lived a quarter of your life, right?
I have to say I can't wait for my twenties to be over. I feel like once you're in your thirties, you get your shit together and gain more respect from people. I would like to get my career on track, be at a job I love and surrounded by great friends. It's a work in progress.
Currently I'm in California celebrating with my birthday twin - my nephew, Jacob. He's turning 4 today. While I'm in Cali, you'll be enjoying some fabulous guest posts so hopefully you won't miss me too much.

DeleteHappy birthday! And amen, sister. I just turned 29 and had a 23 year old explain how small our age difference was. Took everything in my power to not scream 'DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH HAPPENS IN THOSE 6 YEARS?!' :) But anyway, enjoy it! Hugs.

You learn and grow so much in your 20s that even one year is a big gap. I don't even want to talk to 23 year olds :p haha jk

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hear ya about getting out of the 20s. I was just thinking about that the other day how I can't wait to be settled in my career. I just want to be in a place that I love and can grow...and most importantly doing what I love.

Happy birthday! I just turned 24 and I do feel old! Heck, I've been feeling old since age 23 but I just look at the bright side. I have many years more to live and learn. :)
