Another month, another list of favorites! Some of these you may already have read me raving about but others have been secrets I've been keeping for this very post. Here's a round-up of the products I've enjoyed using this month:
Arcona Cranberry Toner which I received in my Sample Society box. I don't typically use a toner because I find them to be irritating for my sensitive skin. However, this one is gentle and smells great in the process.
Elizabeth Grant The Socializer's Z.I.T. Zapper. The most effective acne spot treatment I've used. The tip has a plastic spatula for you to directly apply the formula to your pimple. Whereas most typical salicylic acid formulas don't and dry out any area it touches. It made a very severa pimple go away in just 3 days - I was super impressed!
Sénica Naturals Bay Bay Body Scrub which is a mixture of brown sugar and natural oils that gently exfoliate and moisturize, revealing soft, supple skin. Made my skin feel baby soft and smells great! Grateful they were sponsors of my How to Green Your Beauty Routine event earlier this month.
Arquiste perfumes. Tried a sample in my Gossip Girl Birchbox back in May then I had the pleasure of meeting the founder at the Barneys & Harper's BAZAAR Beauty Breakfast event. It smells very fragrant at first but once you rub it into your skin, it blends in. Most perfumes tell you to avoid rubbing the scent on your skin as it will change it but Carolos created his perfumes so that they work with your natural scents.
tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint. Another product I got to try because of my How to Green Your Beauty Routine event. This product is similar to Clinique's Chubby Stick but less chubby. tarte is cruelty free and it comes in great pigmented shades. Been throwing "Charmed" on before I head out the door lately.
Sumita Beauty Contrast Eye Pencil. I had the pleasure of meeting this company at HBA this year. They gave me a rich, grapefruit color called "Mansha" to try for my eyes. I absolutely love the color. It is super pigmented but the pencil is super soft and glides across your eyelid for easy application.
Boscia B.B. Cream SPF 27 PA++. I received a sample of this in my Glamour Magazine Birchbox in July. I'm still learning about BB Creams but supposedly you put them underneath makeup. However, I felt like this one covered my skin imperfections beautifully that I didn't need to wear anything else over it.
beautyblender blendercleanser. I received a sample of this in my June Birchbox. Now I don't have a beauty blender sponge so I tried it out on my typical makeup sponge. Problem solved! I've also used it to clean my makeup brushes.
Priti NYC Soy Nail Polish Remover Wipes. Yes, another item from my event! Got introduced to some really great brands. Typical nail polish removers can really make nails fragile but this soy nail polish remover wipe is super gentle and even has essential lemongrass oils to help nourish nails while removing the polish. I'm loving these!
I've already raved about Olay's Smooth Finish Facial Hair Removal Duo but it was worth including in this post. I've gotten the whole family in on my obsession.
