Last Thursday I had the pleasure of attending DHC Skincare's beauty event for bloggers and media. DHC is one of Japan’s leading beauty brands, known for innovative skincare based on revitalizing botanicals and advanced science. I had first met DHC at the HBA Global Expo and was excited to try their amazing Deep Cleansing Oil which I featured in my July product favorites.
The event was held at Yotel in the Hell's Kitchen area. It's a Japanese inspired hotel so it's super slick and modern. The lounge definitely provided for a great atmosphere for the event.
They displayed some of their best sellers along with some exciting new products coming out in the coming months throughout the space.

| They sent us home with so many goodies! |
They are expanding their Pore focused skincare line in January 2013 with two new products: Pore Face Wash and Pore Cleansing Oil. The Pore Cleansing Oil is similar to their their Deep Cleansing Oil as it removes makeup but helps minimize the appearance of pores. I really liked the Pore Face Wash. It contains baking soda and fruit juice AHAs to help decrease the size of pores. The current line features: Pore Milk, Pore Lotion, and Pore Essence. I'm excited to try the entire line together since I am not a fan of my large pores.
For February 2013, they are launching Designing Pencil Eyeliners that come in highly pigmented colors. I received Teal and Noir to try. Each eyeliner pencil contains olive oil and squalane to nourish your skin and cost $9.50 each. I really liked the colors and application of these pencils.
In March 2013, they are bringing over one of their Japanese favorites, Karkonjunka Cream which helps fight fine lines and wrinkles. Kakonjuka is Japanese for "flower, root, tree, fruit." This cream contacts 6 Japanese and Korean botanicals to soothe, hydrate and fight fine lines: Maitake mushroom, platycara strobilacea, licorice leaf, great burnet, purslane, and reishi mushroom.
Also, there was a raffle with the opportunity to win a trip to visit their headquarters in San Francisco and my friend Laura of Blush and Beakers won! I know she'll have a fabulous time - SF is an awesome city!

Sounds awesome! I get their catalog, but haven't tried any of the product. My Mom loves their deep cleansing oil!
