The weather is starting to cool off here in New York and I'm ready to start wearing my fall clothes! To me fall is usually all about chunky knits and warm layers. For 2012, it's also about feminine leather. Try to find a great piece like a moto jacket or leather skirt to add to your wardrobe. I'm also slightly obsessed with saddle bags, which ties in with the Equestrian trend.
I want all of the J.Crew pants honestly. I need more in my wardrobe! I purchased a collar necklace on a whim and have enjoyed pairing it with collarless shirts for an extra pop of sophistication. Definitely want to buy some more like this gorgeous one from Zara.
I have this Gap colorblock sweater and it's the comfiest sweater ever! It's really large (fyi) but I enjoy curling up in it. I also purchased these Gabriella Rocha black suede ankle booties and I've already worn them with every outfit this past week. They are very versatile and comfy.

I have been seriously looking at the jeweled collars for this season, but think they may be too twee for me. I'd also love a leather (or faux) pieces and that skirt is perfect.
