Weekend Recap: Fashion Week is Upon Us!

Friday: I finally had the pleasure of meeting Texas blogger Style of Sam who was in town for Lucky FABB! I took her to my favorite neighborhood restaurant, The Smith (always an excuse to go there!). I got the Agave Lemonade (delish) and the burger (because I'm a blogger who likes to eat). It was great meeting with her because she's such a sweetheart in person and we could talk about our blogger woes or how those who don't blog don't understand what we do.

Saturday: Saturday was my first official day at Lincoln Center (since I was trying to take it easy with my neck injury). I had shows from 2 til 9pm so I was quite exhausted. However, I did get to see a lot of my blogging buddies. Fashion Week is kind of like the first day of school for us: pick out our best outfit, butterflies in our stomach and get excited when we see a familiar face in the crowd. Sunday: I had good ol' GRE Prep class so I put my shows on hold for the day. Sunday Night Football was also back which I'm very excited about. Not excited that all the bars in my neighborhood are now crowded with obnoxious dudes in jerseys. You win some, you lose some.
