4 Things I Did This Weekend

One is lopsided but was too lazy to fix it for the picture

1. Organized my bathroom. In Manhattan there's not much space anywhere in your apartment especially counter space in your bathroom. My sink was getting cluttered with products and I wanted to find away to organize them but still have them in sight. I picked up these bins that stick to the wall (typically used in showers) and it holds everything. Now I have a clean countertop but can still reach for the items I need. Life is better with less clutter.

2. Watched an insane amount of football. It's the playoffs so every game counts and I watched them all. On Saturday, the Broncos ended up losing in double overtime to the Baltimore Ravens. The game lasted 4 1/2 hours! Following the Broncos, the 49ers upset the Packers in the evening game which ended around 11:30pm. Then Sunday it started all over again! Good thing I didn't bet on the games because I would have been 1-4.

3. Laughed my ass of watching the Golden Globes. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey did an amazing job. I actually enjoyed watching a 3 hour award show. Kristin Wiig and Will Ferrell were probably my favorite presenters of all time. They need to do another show ASAP! I also would like to take a moment to thank Tina and Amy's moms for not only having them but raising them to be unapologetically free-thinking, strong women that I admire.

4. Welcomed Shameless and Girls back to my TV. Two of my favorite TV shows are back (unfortunately at the same time)! Both returned Sunday night and I couldn't be happier. Shameless returned to the same nonsense in Season 3 and Lip Gallagher continued being his hot self. Girls did not miss a beat and was maybe more raunchy in one episode then the entire last season. There were a lot of great lines that I can't quote (a wee inappropriate) and I hope Donald Glover has more than one episode!
