For this month's GLOSSYBOX they sent us bloggers two of the products in the box at the beginning of the month so we could incorporate it into our skincare routine and give a review. I was appreciative since it's hard to give a fair assessment with just a few tries. Here's what I received:
Philip B. pH Restorative Detangling Toning Mist (2 fl oz $10) | Mitchell and Peach Body Cream in English Flowers (1.4 fl oz/6 oz $61) | Skin Inc Custom Blended Anti-Aging Serum (.34 fl oz/1 fl oz $45) | GlamGlow youthmud™ tinglexfoliate treatment (.5 fl oz/1.7 fl oz $69) | (MALIN + GOETZ) mojito lip balm (.2 oz/.35 oz $12)
This was the other product sent to us. Couldn't find it on the site but the box says "Tackle the signs of aging with this custom blend of Coenzyme Q10, Marine-Collagen and Hyaluronic Acid. Formulate with Skin Inc's patented encapsulation technology. Coenzyme Q10 enhances skin's ability to energize and renew itself, Marine-Collagen to promote the youthful elasticity and suppleness and Hyaluronic Acid for long lasting hydration." Never seen a serum with pink and blue beads before. Very cool looking but have been using the product all month long and can't say I notice major results.
"A luxurious body cream containing English honey, organic cocoa, vitamin B5 and shea butter is sure to leave skin soft, nourished and delicately fragranced." I wasn't particularly fond of the smell and I'd definitely say it's more of a lotion than a body cream.
"Our hydrating lip gel easily integrates for daily maintenance, prevention and treatment of dry, irritated lips." I'm a fan of MALIN + GOETZ products and this lip balm is no different. Very much enjoyed it but just not a big fan of the mojito flavor.
"Water-light leave-in toner adjusts the pH of tap water to seal the cuticle of your hair, for a remarkably smooth, shiny finish. Boosts manageability and shine with Apple Cider Vinegar, a natural astringent and pH balancer. A featherweight blend of essential oils detangles, obliterates frizz and static, and imparts a light botanical scent." I hated the smell of this product so much that I can barely comment on the performance. I sprayed a few sprays and was grossed out so I didn't use it again.
