For twelve years I had to wear a uniform. From the first grade all the way to senior year of high school. Of course, I found ways to break the rules. When I wasn't breaking fashion rules, I was jotting poetry in my composition notebook. I excelled in creative writing classes because I found that I could always explain what I was trying to say with the written word. I have always loved expressing myself and blogging is another facet where I can combine my loves of fashion and writing.
I attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (also known as FIDM) in Los Angeles where I earned my Associates. It was a thrill of a lifetime! I then transferred to continue my education at LIM College (formerly Laboratory Institute of Merchandising) where I flourished in the city I belonged in, New York! I was the Editor-in-Chief of my school's newspaper, Fashionista and interned at Condé Nast Publications.
I always strongly believed a woman with substance and informed opinions was just as stylish as her Birkin bag. On this blog you'll find an unique blend of all my interests: fashion, beauty, personal style, nail art, sports, politics, women's rights, feminism, New York City and sometimes my awkward dating stories. Read more about why I started the blog here.
My career path has gone from fashion editorial to social media. I've been able to turn my passion into a career which is something I've always strived to do. I have been freelancing for clients helping them build their social media strategies. Check out my consulting services and see if I can be of service to your company:
